Pitt game aside, his opening script is usually really good


But yes, it seemed like the play calling was fine vs Syr. I think running the option once or twice early planted a bit of a seed in the Syr D’s mind. And finally settling on a 2 back rotation (with one of them being Thomas) opened the playbook and makes play-calling easier.

There were some head-scratchers, but you can say that about pretty much every team.
